Position
Senior Software Developer Backend – responsible for developing and maintaining backend components in distributed, high‑complexity environments. Key responsibilities include programming, documentation, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend components.
- Write and review technical documentation.
- Coordinate and mentor junior resources.
Qualifications
Fundamentals
- Degree in STEM disciplines (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Experience in software development (minimum 3 years)
- English level B2 or higher
Mandatory
- Advanced knowledge of Java SE
- Proven experience in distributed software environments
- Experience with at least one of the following: Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop (HDFS, HBase, YARN), Elasticsearch
Optional
- Knowledge of a cloud provider, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience in real‑time analytics or stream processing
- Familiarity with the Quarkus framework
Soft skills
- Team collaboration in cross‑functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proactivity in identifying solutions and proposing improvements
- Autonomous management of assigned duties and responsibilities
