PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The role of the Social Media Intern within the FPT organization is to provide full-spectrum support to the Social Media Manager and the Photo & Video Production Manager in managing FPT’s social media presence across Global and EMEA channels. The position contributes to executing the company’s digital communication strategy by ensuring consistent, high‑quality content and timely dissemination of corporate messages.

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of content across FPT’s digital platforms, helping to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. The role also collaborates on the development of the Power Trends newsletter, manages the daily press review, and provides operational support to the media plan. This function requires strong coordination capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret digital performance insights to help strengthen FPT’s online communication.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Support the Social Media Manager in planning, creating, and publishing content across FPT’s Global and EMEA social media channels.
  • Coordinate with the Photo & Video Production Manager to develop multimedia assets (photos, videos, reels, short clips) aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor social media platforms daily, ensuring timely posting, engagement, and content accuracy.
  • Support the moderation of social media channels, including monitoring interactions, identifying relevant conversations, responding when appropriate, and escalating sensitive topics.
  • Contribute to the development, editing, and distribution of the Power Trends newsletter.
  • Manage the daily press review and collect relevant industry news for internal sharing.
  • Assist in the execution of the media plan, supporting campaign roll‑outs and corporate communication priorities.
  • Track, analyze, and report social media KPIs and newsletter performance metrics, highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Communication, Product, Agencies) to support integrated communication initiatives.
  • Stay updated on digital trends, new formats, and best practices to help continuously elevate FPT’s social presence.


REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Basic Social Media Knowledge : Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and understanding of their dynamics.
  • Content Creation Skills : Ability to create engaging content (text, images, basic video) suitable for different platforms.
  • Analytical Thinking : Attention to detail and basic ability to analyze engagement metrics, insights, and audience behavior.
  • Customer-Oriented Mindset : Interest in understanding target audiences and supporting segmentation strategies.
  • Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and support team objectives.
  • Results-Oriented Approach : Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and motivation to contribute to campaign performance.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across different teams.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).
  • Technical Skills : Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media management tools is a plus.
