Support Project Management team for excellent execution. Be the reference for Quality & Excellence culture, process and tools within Project Office. Ensure compliance to all requirements from Project Management process and customer standards. Foster Quality Assurance in all execution areas. Assure we fulfill all contractual commitments provided to the Customer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Project Manager to implement quality plans and procedures.
  • Monitor the distribution of documents, measuring instruments, material traceability, and quality records.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Management (NCM) registration and resolution.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain registers for instruments and welder qualifications.
  • Supervise inspectors and inspection companies on site.
  • Participate in audits and ensure that subcontractors use calibrated instruments.
  • Ensure that all special processes are identified and personnel are appropriately qualified.
  • Collect and organize quality records for the site quality book.
  • Conduct project audits and monitor corrective actions.
  • Manage deviations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Providing QA performance statistics and handling customer complaints


Responsibilities

  • Support Site Quality Manager for the preparation of all resources needed for excellent execution at site, including trainings, personal qualifications, proper information, etc….
  • Perform process audits at site, including but not limited to
  • Control and distribution of documents
  • Control of measurement and tests devices
  • Storage and preservation
  • Welding process, painting process, material traceability, personal qualifications for special processes, quality records.
  • Submit reports on performance and progress
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements


Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 1 to 5 years' of industry experience
  • Ability to work in remote locations within a hydroelectric power plant.
  • Extensive experience in quality engineering within construction or industrial projects.
  • Sound knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
  • Fluent in Germand and English writing and speaking. French will be an asset.
