Site Managers – Data Centre Projects

The Opportunity
A leading international contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe is seeking multiple Site Managers to join a major live scheme in Milan.
We are recruiting across three disciplines and are open to both junior and mid-level profiles depending on experience:
- MEP Site Managers
- CSA Site Managers
- Commissioning Site Managers
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically complex, high-value data centre project within a fast-paced mission-critical environment.
MEP Site Managers
Suitable for junior to mid-level professionals with experience across mechanical and/or electrical packages.
Key Experience:
- Mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling, pipework)
- Electrical systems (LV/MV, switchgear, cabling)
- Power distribution and backup systems
- Signal systems, BMS and ICT infrastructure
- Coordination of MEP subcontractors on site
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily MEP site activities
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme
- Liaise with design and commissioning teams
- Maintain quality and compliance standards
CSA Site Managers
Suitable for junior to mid-level professionals with strong civil, structural or architectural site experience.
Key Experience:
- Structural works (concrete, steel, superstructure)
- Groundworks and utilities
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Infrastructure coordination
Responsibilities:
- Oversee civil, structural and architectural packages
- Manage subcontractors and daily site operations
- Ensure works meet programme and quality standards
- Monitor HSE compliance
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration
Commissioning Site Managers
Suitable for candidates with approximately 5 years of relevant commissioning or technical delivery experience within mission-critical or complex environments.
Key Experience:
- Commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems
- Understanding of integrated systems testing
- Coordination between construction and commissioning teams
- Exposure to mission-critical environments preferred
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commissioning activities on site
- Coordinate testing and validation processes
- Ensure documentation and handover requirements are met
- Work closely with client technical teams
- Support phased handover and project completion
Requirements
- Experience within data centre or technically complex construction projects preferred
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work within fast-track project environments
- EU working rights
