Site Maintenance Engineer (Internship)

Job Title: Junior Site Maintenance Engineer (Intern)

Job Location: Milan (Italy)

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Coordination: Assist in supervising preventive and corrective maintenance for critical site infrastructure, including:
  • HVAC: Precision air conditioning and cooling systems.
  • Power Systems: Low/Medium voltage panels, UPS, 48V DC power stations, and transformer substations.
  • Safety & Protection: Grounding systems, lightning protection, and fire suppression systems.
  • Emergency Power: Fixed and mobile diesel generators.
• Technical Support: Provide remote troubleshooting support for Power and Cooling issues to field technicians, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Site Monitoring: Utilize remote plant monitoring systems to track performance and identify potential failures before they impact service.
• Vendor Management: Monitor the progress of on-site operations by subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with technical designs and quality standards.
• Reporting: Detect and report constraints during work execution; follow up on technical issues until final resolution and communicate updates to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related technical field, graduating between January 2025 and December 2027.
• Foundational understanding of power supply, cooling systems, and electrical/structural calculations.
• Proficient in technical documentation and standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross‑project tasks and stakeholder needs; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Language Requirements: Good command of English and fluent in Italian.
