For our projects in Italy, we are seeking a Site Engineer / Construction Manager who meets the qualifications outlined below.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the Quality Management System
  • Monitor and ensure that construction activities are completed on time and in full by contractors
  • Prepare daily site reports and manage the review, approval, or rejection of contractor reports
  • Inspect on-site works to ensure compliance with projects, technical specifications, and latest revisions
  • Identify non-conforming works and, where necessary, suspend activities and ensure corrective actions
  • Perform construction process inspections , review inspection forms, and manage approval processes
  • Effectively supervise and guide contractor activities
  • Evaluate material approval processes from both technical and documentation perspectives
  • Organize or participate in daily/weekly/monthly coordination and progress meetings
  • Prevent the entry of non-compliant materials to the site and ensure their removal when necessary
  • Conduct compliance and calibration checks for machinery, equipment, and measuring devices
  • Record non-conformities under CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
  • Review and, when required, prepare official reports and minutes issued by the Employer, contractors, and consultants
  • Review, assess, and manage approval processes for project and construction drawings
  • Regularly take and archive progress photographs of construction works
  • Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site
  • Ensure the preparation and monitoring of contractor work schedules
  • Prepare tender packages , collect bids, and conduct comparative bid analyses
  • Organize contractor selection processes and prepare evaluation reports
  • Coordinate the preparation and approval of contracts and contract appendices
  • To check contractor schedules for compliance with contracts and the master schedule, monitor delays or penalty-related items, and report them,
  • Review payment certificates (progress payments) for contractual compliance
  • Prepare variation orders and cost analyses and manage approval processes
  • Prepare budget and cash flow plans xdwybme , analyze deviations, and submit regular reports


Qualifications

  • Graduated from Civil Engineering or Architecture departments of universities
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in site supervision and construction management
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Fluent in English and Italian ; Turkish proficiency will be an advantage
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive, responsible, and result-oriented
  • High level of planning, organization, and control skills
  • Preferably experienced in hotel and facility projects
  • Able to work actively on site at the Montepulciano office/location in Italy
