Job Description

GE Vernova – Sesto San Giovanni, Lombardy, Italy. AI/ML Strategist responsible for driving AI/ML initiatives at the site level.

• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional lean teams and stakeholders to proactively identify and evaluate high‑impact AI/ML opportunities for the site.
• Act as a key AI partner to project teams, guiding them through the potentials and limitations of AI/ML, translating business challenges into clear problem statements, measurable success criteria, and value hypotheses.
• Serve as AMP 2.0 Ambassador: coach teams on AMP 2.0 functionalities and develop own use‑cases.
• Lead feasibility studies and proof‑of‑concept (POC) deployments for high‑impact opportunities, working with PT Central AI to adapt existing use‑cases to site business needs.
• Partner with PT Central AI and stakeholders to scale AI POCs to production‑ready deployments, activating business impact at the site level.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience applying AI/ML to operations (e.g., data analysis, time‑series forecasting, anomaly detection, computer vision, optimization, basic NLP/LLM use cases).
• Proficiency with Python and data‑analysis methodologies; experience with data collection, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimental POC design.
• Proven experience deploying AI in an industrial environment.
• Project management skills.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English and native Italian.
