Job Description

GE Vernova – Sesto San Giovanni, Lombardy, Italy. AI / ML Strategist responsible for driving AI / ML initiatives at the site level.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional lean teams and stakeholders to proactively identify and evaluate high‑impact AI / ML opportunities for the site.

Act as a key AI partner to project teams, guiding them through the potentials and limitations of AI / ML, translating business challenges into clear problem statements, measurable success criteria, and value hypotheses.

Serve as AMP2.0 Ambassador : coach teams on AMP2.0 functionalities and develop own use‑cases.

Lead feasibility studies and proof‑of‑concept (POC) deployments for high‑impact opportunities, working with PT Central AI to adapt existing use‑cases to site business needs.

Partner with PT Central AI and stakeholders to scale AI POCs to production‑ready deployments, activating business impact at the site level.

Qualifications

Hands‑on experience applying AI / ML to operations (e.g., data analysis, time‑series forecasting, anomaly detection, computer vision, optimization, basic NLP / LLM use cases).

Proficiency with Python and data‑analysis methodologies; experience with data collection, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimental POC design.

Proven experience deploying AI in an industrial environment.

Project Management Skills

Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Fluent English and native Italian.
