Simulation Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Simulation Specialist to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced simulation models and tools for vehicle performance analysis.

The selected candidate will develop highly specialized know-how by working alongside experts in the field and will have significant opportunities for professional growth and career evolution within a challenging and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and updating system/subsystem simulation models
  • Integrating system/subsystem models into the simulation environment
  • Validating simulation models and ensuring reliability of results
  • Executing simulations and analyzing vehicle performance metrics such as:
  • Energy consumption
  • Vehicle range
  • Gradeability
  • Maximum speed
  • Evaluating simulation outputs and presenting technical results clearly and effectively
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

Additional Responsibilities

  • Developing user-friendly GUIs to simplify simulation workflows
  • Deploying internal applications that enable non-technical users to run dedicated simulations autonomously

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, or related fields
  • Solid understanding of multi-domain physics
  • Good knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape
  • Ability to create and integrate system/subsystem models
  • Experience in model simulation and validation
  • Ability to analyze simulation results and present findings effectively
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems
  • Advanced expertise in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape
  • Knowledge of GT-SUITE
  • Understanding of vehicle architectures
  • Familiarity with measurement and calibration tools such as ETAS INCA and MDA
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN
