Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer at Nidec Drives. This role involves managing both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, providing support to drive centres and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The engineer will support commercial activities, facilitate product adoption, and bridge product management, engineering, and regional teams to deliver application expertise and resolve challenges.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial product support and proposals
• Support segments and regional drive centres
• Coordinate bids and analyze margins
• Provide application engineering and technical support
• Enable commercial training and gather product feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally and monitor performance
• Build customer relationships and advocacy

Travel Requirements:

Minimum 25% travel, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings, with potential for more based on business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical or automation field or equivalent
• Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management
• Business development experience in Servo Motors/Gear and Motion Control
• Market and application knowledge in automation
• Strong interpersonal, technical, and financial skills
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional projects

Employees must be able to:

• Understand emergency instructions
• Read safety signage and hazard warnings
• Communicate effectively in emergencies
