The Service Spare Parts Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of spare part master data across the business unit globally. This role is critical in enforcing standardized data governance policies and aligning global service operations with corporate standards. The position will act as a bridge between headquarters and local subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with data management best practices and driving operational excellence
Task & Responsabilities
Governance & Compliance:
- Enforce spare part master data governance guidelines and ensure global adherence to corporate standards.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to support data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Monitor and audit spare part master data processes to identify and mitigate risks.
Standardization & Quality Assurance:
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate and consistent spare part master data across all business units.
- Define and implement data validation and cleansing processes to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance spare part data management systems.
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with headquarters, regional service teams, and local subsidiaries to align on spare part master data governance policies.
- Serve as the central point of contact for spare part master data-related inquiries and escalations.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless data integration and utilization.
Process Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies in current spare part data management processes and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop automation strategies and leverage technology to streamline spare part master data workflows.
- Support the implementation of new systems or tools that impact spare part master data management.
Training & Support:
- Educate and train relevant stakeholders on spare part master data governance principles and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support to regional and local teams to ensure proper adoption of spare part data management policies.
- Develop training materials and documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Management, or related fields.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in spare part master data governance, data management, or a related role within a global organization.
- Strong understanding of service operations, spare part data governance principles, and supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Business Fluent in English (minimum B1 Level)
- Proficiency in data management tools and ERP systems.
