Busch Vacuum Solutions is a global leader in industrial vacuum technology, offering a range of high-performance pumps and systems across more than 44 countries. We are seeking a Service Sales Engineer to support the Italian market and drive growth in our service business.
Position
Service Sales Engineer – Italian Market
Responsibilities
- Sell the full Busch Group service product portfolio to customers across the Industrial market in Italy.
- Achieve service sales targets for all relevant Italian markets, defining and aligning growth objectives with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Develop service sales strategies for accounts based on current business and long‑term plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive services.
- Identify and pursue new service sales opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, manage opportunities, and convert prospects into clients.
- Define, negotiate, and formalize service contracts, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and company policies.
- Create value‑based service proposals that integrate maintenance, digital tools, and lifecycle support.
- Promote data‑driven and IoT‑enabled service solutions to enhance system reliability, predictive maintenance, and customer value.
- Work closely with the technical team to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Submit service sales forecasts backed by market trends and competition analysis.
- Use C4 SAP CRM to manage opportunities, track customer interactions, and ensure accurate sales reporting.
- Comply with all health and safety initiatives and maintain a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales or engineering experience in a service or aftermarket business environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Deep knowledge of the company’s purpose, values, code of conduct, business model, services, and pricing structure.
- Customer‑service focus with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM systems, and SAP Fiori (plus).
- Valid driver’s licence (B) and willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy.
