About our client
Our client is a global power generation company committed to new growth in thermal and renewable technologies. The firm seeks to acquire and operate electricity generation businesses worldwide, creating economic and social value through better operation. They are looking for a Senior Valuation Specialist to join the New Countries team based in Milan.
What the job involves
- Investments financial valuation with proper methodologies (mainly DCF) to define main KPIs of projects/strategic initiatives.
- Valuation of M&A opportunities with applicable methodologies.
- Analyse and challenge investment assumptions provided by other departments/external providers.
- Identify and measure the impact of investments risks on the value to shareholders.
- Prepare all the relevant documentation necessary for the investment approval process.
- Coordinate advisors involved in financial modelling.
Who we are looking for
- A business degree with a concentration in Finance. Professional designation.
- Relevant experience in Financial modelling/Valuation in the energy field.
- Ability to quickly read, review, analyse and summarise large amounts of information, such as projects information and market research.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organisational skills required.
