WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Core activities . You will have the opportunity to manage personnel and oversee projects, ensuring effective execution and delivery (important to present past experiences), shaping and guiding the company's relationships with the industrial customers and partners, positioning Reply as a key supplier in embedded AI. You will be engaged in market monitoring and strategic relationship-building, you will define and manage technology transfer and collaborative R&D agreements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Technologies .You will work with embedded systems and AI, including C/C++, Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch for edge AI applications.
• Team work . You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers focused on cutting-edge AI applications for embedded systems. Our collaborative environment encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and hands‑on problem solving across automotive, manufacturing, and energy sectors. The team values autonomy, continuous learning, and close collaboration with industrial partners, providing the opportunity to lead high‑impact projects from concept to deployment.
• Academic background . Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Valuable expertise . 10+ years of experience in a senior technical role, expertise in AI (ML, Deep Learning and Gen AI) for embedded systems. Proven experience in PMO with a history of managing large‑scale projects, involving cross‑functional teams (software engineers, data scientists, data analysts). Proficient in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies. Demonstrated success in business development, with a focus on strategic partnerships and R&D agreements. Strong expertise in embedded systems and AI, including C/C++, Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch for edge AI applications. Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs (ARM, NVIDIA Jetson, FPGA), real‑time and embedded operating system and industrial protocols is essential. Strong knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and R&D collaboration tools rounds out the technical skill set. Fluency in English and Italian is required.
• Nice to have . Familiarity with automotive and industrial standards (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262), computer vision tools (OpenCV, YOLO), simulation and prototyping (MATLAB/Simulink, ROS). Proven experience in cloud/IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT) and in Software Engineering.
• Soft skills . Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strategic relationships with industrial partners and internal stakeholders. The role requires problem‑solving mindset, adaptability in fast‑paced environments, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance technical depth with business priorities. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to mentor and develop talent are highly valued.
