Senior Technical Consultant

The Digital & New Media team of Grafton, a global brand that specializes in professional recruitment, for a leader company operating in the Industrial Intelligence field, is looking for a
SENIOR TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Location: Milan

A successful Senior Technical Consultant is a multi-tasker at heart, with strong organizational skills and a problem solving mindset that thrives in a fast-paced and evolving organization. Tightly working with the Analysts and Project Managers on the technical implementation of projects based on a proprietary solution for international fashion customers.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate the technical feasibility of customers’ requirements
• Contribute to the technical design of the solution
• Map functional to detailed technical specifications
• Configure/customize the solution in order to reflect the customer functional modeling
• Deploy and administrate the solution
• Build reports and design interfaces (i.e. API) to exchange data with other applications
• Liaise with internal teams (R&D, OPS, Support, etc.) and Customer IT departments
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management IS or related technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience participating to project implementation
• A consulting background is preferable
• Strong mastery of at least one programming language (Java/JavaScript preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL
• Non SQL Databases (MongoDB) knowledge is a plus
• Experience working with cloud-based solutions or within a “DevOps”-oriented environment, having used tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Grafana, etc.
• Web services, API and database (Oracle) skills
• Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus
• Ability to analyze issues and system environment efficiently
• Good interpersonal and listening skills, autonomy and tact
• On top of Italian, you must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
