KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Defines, analyzes, and maintains system and subsystem requirements in compliance with mission objectives and customer specifications;
  • Develops and maintains system-level architectures, ensuring the coherent integration of payloads, platforms, and ground segments;
  • Acts as a technical interface with subsystem leads (mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, AOCS, power) to guarantee consistency and performance across all disciplines;
  • Defines verification plans, manages test campaigns, and ensures full traceability of requirements according to ECSS and internal standards;
  • Develops Interface Control Documents (ICDs), test procedures, and system-level specifications to ensure compliance;
  • Supports system analyses (performance budgets, mass, power, and thermal models) and validates mission scenarios using simulation tools;
  • Participates in formal design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR, AR) and maintains system configuration control;
  • Identifies technical risks, proposes mitigation strategies, and monitors performance margins throughout the development cycle;
  • Works closely with Program Management, Quality Assurance, and AIT teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of mission hardware.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or satellite mission design within the aerospace or defense sectors;
  • Comprehensive understanding of space systems engineering processes, including requirements flow-down, verification, and validation;
  • Strong familiarity with ECSS standards, space project documentation, and mission lifecycles;
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink);
  • Proven experience with system modeling, budgeting (mass, power, thermal), and performance analysis;
  • Fluency in English.
