We are seeking an experienced and field-focused Senior Superintendent to join a well-established construction management and general contracting firm with a strong backlog of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects throughout Southwest Florida. This role will be responsible for leading all field operations, driving project schedules, managing subcontractors and self-perform crews, and ensuring successful project delivery from mobilization through closeout.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys running complex infrastructure projects, mentoring field teams, collaborating with owners and engineers, and taking ownership of large-scale municipal and treatment facility work. Salary: $150,000 - $180,000

Key Responsibilities
* Provide overall field leadership for Water and Wastewater Treatment construction projects
* Manage day-to-day jobsite operations from mobilization through project completion
* Develop and execute project work plans, sequencing, and field logistics
* Lead project safety initiatives and enforce all company and OSHA safety requirements
* Direct field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners
* Manage workforce planning and staffing requirements
* Coordinate site layout, field engineering, and quality control activities
* Monitor project schedules and develop look-ahead planning activities
* Identify potential project risks, conflicts, and challenges before they impact performance
* Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for constructability and coordination
* Generate and manage RFIs and field issue resolution
* Track and manage change order work and time-and-material activities
* Communicate regularly with owners, engineers, architects, and project stakeholders
* Review and approve field reports, payroll, and vendor documentation
* Support value engineering initiatives and cost-saving opportunities
* Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget expectations
* Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution
Qualifications
* 7+ years of Superintendent or Senior Superintendent experience
* Strong background managing Water and Wastewater Treatment Facility construction projects
* Experience leading large field teams and multiple subcontractors
* Comprehensive understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
* Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience coordinating with owners, engineers, and municipal stakeholders
* Knowledge of field engineering principles and construction best practices
* Ability to manage high-risk construction activities including excavation, confined space, and scaffolding operations
* Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction technology platforms
* Experience with scheduling and project management software
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience on municipal, public infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
* Direct experience with treatment plants, pump stations, process piping, or related utility infrastructure
* OSHA 30 Certification
* CPR / First Aid Certification
* Additional construction safety certifications
* Experience managing union and non-union labor environments
* Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects safely and successfully
