Overview

Amazon.com operates in a virtual, global eCommerce environment without boundaries and operates a diverse set of businesses, including Retail, third‑party marketplaces, eCommerce platforms, and web services for developers.

Amazon’s Global Stores (GS) provide customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end‑to‑end delivery solutions, and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. GS simplifies the cross‑border shopping process by clearing customs on the customer’s behalf and guarantees that the customer will not have to pay any additional duties and import fees beyond what is shown at checkout. The RBS AGS team shares GS’s vision to empower customers to “Stay Local, Shop Global” with an objective to improve GS customer experience and maximize the revenue potential of GS ASINs by fixing cross‑listing, buyability, discoverability, and detail‑page conversion defects at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an SME of RBS AGS, working as an expert to cooperate with various Amazon teams and drive implementation of programs that enhance customer experience and contribute to business growth.
  • Forecast, plan, implement, and control the progress of programs to ensure successful delivery and achievement of goals.

Key Performance Areas

  • Own BU‑level goals and work with various teams to drive continuous improvement towards the goals.
  • Dive deep, find root causes, and build solutions.
  • Eliminate defects by engaging with upstream teams for solution updates.
  • Consider scalability in solution building.
  • Be creative with new initiatives.
  • Engage stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience working in international cross‑functional teams.
  • Knowledge of customer experience, listening to customers’ voices, and working backwards to improve business processes and operations.
  • Language skill: English can be used as a working language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in advanced SQL, Python, and Tableau.
  • Experience in back‑office operations, escalation management, and troubleshooting environments.
  • Experience developing SOPs to build mechanisms for complex working processes.
  • Experience in e‑commerce product listing and catalog management.
  • Experience handling projects using Six Sigma or Lean processes.
  • Knowledge of e‑commerce search algorithms, including ranking mechanisms, product discoverability, and search optimization techniques.
