Senior Solution Architect at BIP

Senior Solution Architect in PLAS – Platform Architecture Strategy, a dedicated line of BIP focused on Enterprise Architecture. The role involves designing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that integrate enterprise architecture, cloud, data, and emerging technologies to drive digital transformation for large organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to define architectural solutions that support digital transformation and evolve operational models.
  • Design end‑to‑end solutions integrating legacy systems, cloud‑native applications, APIs, micro‑services, and event‑driven architectures.
  • Lead architectural decisions on complex projects, contributing to reference architecture, technology blueprints, and design standards.
  • Create innovative solutions that incorporate AI (including LLM and GenAI), cloud technologies, data ecosystems, and DevOps tools.
  • Evaluate technology stacks and tools through comparative analysis based on functional and non‑functional requirements.
  • Support development teams throughout the solution life cycle to ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of IT experience in consulting, system integration, or large enterprise environments, actively designing and evolving application and architecture solutions in complex enterprise contexts.
  • Experience modeling enterprise solutions that integrate legacy environments, distributed architectures, and cloud‑based systems.
  • Knowledge of major integration paradigms (API, micro‑services, event‑driven, EAI/ESB/SOA) and service‑oriented architectural logic.
  • Proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container deployment models (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher).
  • Solid infrastructure expertise (networking, virtualization, storage) to support solution design.
  • Experience with Java/Spring, .NET, Python, JavaScript (React/Angular) or equivalent technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and principles (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD).
  • Background in data solution design, selection of relational and NoSQL databases, and end‑to‑end data architecture (ingestion, processing, serving, security).
  • Knowledge of modern data ecosystems (Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks, Kafka, object storage, ETL) in on‑prem and cloud contexts.
  • Understanding of AI technologies and frameworks (GenAI, LLM, ML) and ability to design solutions that integrate AI in an enterprise setting.
  • Experience with architectural design models (C4, diagram‑as‑code, Archimate) and tools (Structurizr, Draw.io, Lucidchart, Enterprise Architect).
  • Strong analytical thinking, systemic vision, and orientation toward quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage diverse stakeholders and lead technical and functional workshops.
  • Good organizational abilities, operable in structured yet dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF®).
  • Cloud certifications at associate or professional level (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Certifications in AI and Data (AI/ML advanced, SnowPro, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
  • DevOps certifications (DevOps Foundation or advanced equivalents).
