About Our Client
Our client is on a mission to simplify how developers interact with government services. Their goal is to make the exchange of electronic documents - such as e-invoices- fast, secure, and developer-friendly through powerful API solutions.
Location: Remote from Italy
Contract Type: Full-time
Language Requirements: Spanish (native or fluent), English (B2 level or higher)
Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the development and deployment of core products for the Spanish market , ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and easy to integrate.
You will:
- Architect, build, and document backend components and APIs.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of the systems.
- Collaborate directly with customers to support smooth and successful integrations.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a junior/mid-level developer.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Strong experience in developing web applications and backend services.
- Hands-on experience with scalable API projects .
- Solid understanding of Spanish and English (B2+) .
- Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
- Familiarity with fiscal compliance , e-invoicing standards , or government APIs is a strong plus.
Preferred Tech Stack
While diverse technical backgrounds are welcome, the following experience is especially valued:
- PHP (preferably with Symfony )
- Python
- AWS or similar cloud platforms
