Senior SAP GTS Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a project team on all phases of SAP GTS implementations, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, go‑live, hyper‑care, and post‑go‑live support.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into robust SAP GTS solution designs.
• Advise clients on international trade compliance and support the development of best practices using SAP GTS capabilities.
• Configure and support SAP GTS components such as Customs Management, Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Intrastat.
• Translate functional requirements into clear specifications for technical development, with a strong focus on standard solutions and sustainable system design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP GTS consulting experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience in at least one end‑to‑end SAP GTS implementation project.
• Solid knowledge of SAP GTS; prior experience with SAP SD and/or SAP MM is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (other languages are an advantage).
• Readiness to travel.
