Key Responsibilities
* Drive the commercial growth of the company’s minimally invasive surgery portfolio, with a particular focus on surgical stapling technologies.
* Partner with the European Sales Manager to develop new markets and expand business in established territories.
* Act as the primary clinical expert, supporting distributors and healthcare professionals throughout the sales process and product adoption journey.
* Provide extensive operating room support during surgical procedures, ensuring the correct and effective use of the company’s products.
* Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education, and hands-on training to surgeons, operating room personnel, and distributor sales teams.
* Mentor and develop distributors’ clinical and commercial capabilities to increase their effectiveness and independence.
* Support product evaluations, clinical trials, and new product launches across the assigned region.
* Build strong relationships with surgeons, key opinion leaders, hospital stakeholders, and distribution partners.
* Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive insights to support business growth strategies.
* Represent the company at scientific meetings, workshops, congresses, and customer events.
Qualifications & Experience * Proven experience within the medical device industry, preferably in minimally invasive surgery. * Strong clinical knowledge of surgical procedures and operating room practices. * Previous experience supporting surgical staplers or other advanced surgical technologies is highly preferred. * Demonstrated experience providing intraoperative support to surgeons and clinical teams. * Good understanding of sales processes and procurement pathways in both public and private hospitals. * Experience working with international distributors is highly desirable. * Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence purchasing decisions through clinical credibility and customer engagement. * Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills. * Highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
Language Requirements * Fluent English and Italian is mandatory. * Additional European languages are considered an advantage.
