A leading global technology organization specializing in industrial automation, digital transformation, and process control solutions is seeking an experienced
Senior Sales Manager
to drive growth across the Italian market.

The company partners with major industrial organizations across sectors including energy, chemicals, manufacturing, and process industries, delivering innovative automation systems, software solutions, and engineering expertise that support operational excellence and digitalization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and revenue growth throughout Italy. Drive business development activities and identify new opportunities within key industrial sectors. Build strong relationships with end users, engineering contractors (EPCs), system integrators, and strategic business partners. Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, tender submissions, commercial negotiations, and contract closure. Achieve sales targets while ensuring sustainable profitability and long-term customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to support business strategy. Expand and manage local partner networks and channel relationships. Collaborate closely with engineering, technical, and project delivery teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects.
Background Experience
Degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, account management, or business development within industrial automation, instrumentation, process control, engineering services, or related industrial sectors. Experience working with EPC contractors and managing industrial project opportunities is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of automation technologies including DCS, PLC, instrumentation, industrial software, and digital transformation solutions. Proven commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Established network within Italy's industrial market would be beneficial. Willingness to travel across Italy and internationally as required. Fluent Italian and English language skills are essential.
