My client is a global Payment Service Provider with a local office in Milan. They have a dynamic, diverse and growing commercial team covering Sales, Relationship Management, Solution Consulting and Implementation. They maintain a strong presence across key market verticals and participate in major industry events throughout the year. What you will be doing:

  • Pre-qualifying inbound sales leads from various channels (telephone, website, trade shows, company events, etc.), following structured lead generation best practices including rating systems, pre-call preparation and call guides.
  • Generating new sales opportunities through outbound outreach aligned with lead generation programs.
  • Maintaining accurate sales lead documentation and CRM records.
  • Nurturing early-stage opportunities to ensure consistent communication prior to entering the formal sales cycle.
  • Supporting strategic and targeted sales and marketing campaigns through comprehensive data collection.
  • Tracking and evaluating campaign effectiveness and reporting insights to management.
  • Supporting enterprise-wide lead generation initiatives and monitoring performance of marketing programs to drive revenue into the sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge across one or more business lines and executing lead generation activities accordingly.
  • Ensuring timely follow-up by assigned sales executives and facilitating progression of qualified leads through the sales process.
  • Preparing lead generation reports and presenting findings, including clear interpretation of results, root causes and recommended next steps.
  • Identifying areas of opportunity, preparing business presentations and executing initiatives with relevant business units.
  • Gathering and maintaining competitive intelligence and contact data to support future sales and marketing efforts.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales and/or Lead Generation, ideally with leadership exposure.
  • Strong management, organizational, team-building, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial and/or payment technology solutions, including systems, applications and banking practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in a structured and professional manner.
  • Strong productivity, planning and workload management skills.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience within Payments and/or FinTech.
