Mission

We seek an experienced Rust developer to support and grow our infrastructure, which utilizes an evolving technology stack. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to develop new features, integrate liquidity sources, and structure financial systems. As a key member of the engineering team, you will engage in technical discussions and contribute to the overall architecture.

The ideal candidate has experience with low-latency trading systems, is passionate about algo trading, crypto, DeFi, and is a low-level systems thinker. You should be comfortable integrating with APIs, even if poorly documented.

Responsibilities

• Supporting implementation, setup, and deployment of trading algorithms, and signing off on technical approaches.
• Assisting product managers with planning and making technical decisions within the broader roadmap and guidelines.
• Mentoring team members and participating in code reviews.
• Reviewing performance metrics and data to identify weaknesses and optimize activities.
• Ensuring documentation of processes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend development experience in C++, Rust, Go, or Java.
• Proficiency in Rust is essential.
• Familiarity or interest in trading and financial markets.
• Experience with trading algorithms and order books.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Minimum 1 year of experience in DeFi, Web3, or DAOs.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with non-EVM chains.

Preference for candidates based in Europe.
