ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design and develop advanced robotics solutions for industrial applications as part of the Industrial Robotics & Automation subdivision within the SoftServe Robotics Group. You will work on complex automation challenges involving robotic arms, end-effectors, humanoid robots, and legged robots, helping bring innovative robotic systems from concept to real-world industrial use. Your work will contribute to improving precision, productivity, and efficiency across modern industrial environments. RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop robotics solutions for industrial applications, including robotic arms, end-effectors, humanoid robots, and legged robots • Work on motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, and control for advanced robotic systems • Integrate sensors, actuators, control systems, and software components into reliable robotics solutions • Develop and test robotics software using C++, Python, Linux, ROS, MoveIt2, Isaac Sim, and related tools • Support simulation, validation, and testing of robotic systems in virtual and real-world environments • Research the latest trends, tools, and technologies in industrial robotics and apply them to practical solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality robotics systems REQUIREMENTS • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field • Strong background in industrial robotics, robotic arms, humanoid robots, legged robots, or similar robotic systems • Solid knowledge of motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, and control • Experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and robotics system integration • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in Linux environments • Experience with ROS, MoveIt2, Isaac Sim, VLA, Reinforcement Learning, or similar robotics technologies • Proficiency with software engineering tools such as Git, CMake, Make, GDB, CI/CD, and testing frameworks • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
