New Opportunity – Milan - Senior Renewable Energy Consultant
Location: Milan, Italy – office-based initially (4 days per week) with flexible remote working further down the line.
Salary: Market leading salary + Bonus + Benefits
Piper Maddox are partnered with a growing international renewable energy consultancy who have an established presence across several markets across the globe. They operate across PV, BESS, Wind and hybrid projects. What separates this company from its competitors is its non-hierarchical nature which allows for more autonomy over your career and high-level strategy discussions from day one.
As they expand rapidly in Italy, my client is looking for a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to work across multiple technologies, but a clear focus on BESS. You’ll have support from a team with deep expertise and be encouraged to pursue your passion areas.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical and commercial consultancy for solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid projects in Italy, supporting other European markets.
- Drive business development and build lasting client relationships.
- Conduct due diligence on projects and portfolios, assessing technical, commercial, and regulatory risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide bespoke owner’s engineer services and contribute to strategic sector initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinating internal and external resources.
Who We’re Looking For
- Native/fluent in Italian and English .
- 3+ years’ consultancy experience in solar PV and/or storage, including technical due diligence, contract review, and client management.
- Strong understanding of Italian local requirements
- BESS experience
