As Senior Executive in EU Health & Safety, you will lead safety initiatives across Italy Fulfillment Centers, driving compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll mentor Safety Managers, shape regional safety programs, and deliver data-driven insights to senior leadership. The role focuses on reducing risk, improving training, and embedding safety as a core capability of our fast‑paced operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, efficient fulfillment that supports Amazon’s customer‑centric mission. • Lead Safety Managers and address performance issues
• Oversee Italy FC safety programs and metrics reporting
• Support general managers with safety training, communication, and execution
• Ensure compliance with EU occupational safety laws across FCs
• Conduct gap analyses to justify safety investments and act on associate feedback
• Develop and implement training for safety issues
• Analyze accident data to create prevention programs
• Foster engagement and leadership support for safety initiatives
• Review SOP changes and provide safety recommendations
• Conduct site visits and share feedback with Ops leadership and safety teams
• Maintain high standards for risk assessment and safety adherence
• Perform Job Hazard Analysis and Job Safety Analysis
• Coordinate workers' compensation processes with insurers
• Build relations with local authorities and insurers
• Provide weekly safety metrics to senior management
• Apply Lean tools to safety and develop dashboards for risk monitoring
• Lead safety-related project work and cross‑network initiatives
• Communicate with works councils and safety committees as required
• Ensure risk assessment and site safety standards are upheld
• Protect and promote a proactive safety culture

Responsabilità

• Degree‑level education; ASPP or RSPP certification
• Experience leading a team
• Experience complying with local health and safety legislation
• Advanced English and local language proficiency
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and cross‑functional influence
• Excellent communication to manage stakeholders at all levels
• Proven track record driving meaningful change in operations
