RF Engineer - Antenna Design Permanent €Excellent Salary Leading Sat Coms Manufacture rPosition Summa ry We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Antenna Design Engineer (RF Engineer specialized in antenna design) to join our client's engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, simulation, prototyping, and measurement of next-generation antenna systems. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of electromagnetic theory, hands-on experience with industry-standard simulation tools, and practical expertise in RF testing and verificatio n.Key Responsibilit ies Design & Simulation: Model, simulate, and optimize antenna structures and RF components to meet specific electrical and mechanical performance requiremen ts. Prototyping & Tuning: Oversee the fabrication of antenna prototypes and perform hardware troubleshooting, tuning, and optimizati on. Testing & Measurement: Conduct comprehensive antenna performance testing in anechoic chambers or laboratory environments, including evaluating parameters such as gain, radiation patterns, return loss, and efficien cy. Data Analysis: Utilize mathematical modeling tools to analyze test data, post-process simulation results, and validate performance against theoretical mode ls.Required Qualifications & Sk ills Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipl ine. Simulation Tools: Advanced proficiency in CST Microwave Studio or Ansys HFSS (experience with both is highly benefici al). Programming: Strong scripting and data analysis skills in MATLAB for post-processing and automat ion. RF Testing Expertise: Proven experience with antenna measurement techniques, including hands-on familiarity with measuring gain, radiation diagrams (patterns), VSWR, and S-parameters using Vector Network Analyzers (VN As). Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electromagnetic fields, wave propagation, transmission lines, and various antenna topolog ies.Preferred Qualifica tions Experience with PCB layout tools (Altium, Allegro, etc.) for RF circ uits.
