Senior R&D Engineer – Bar Top Business Unit

We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to strengthen our Bar Top Business Unit and support the execution of structured innovation and product development projects across our international manufacturing network.
This role combines hands-on industrial development , cross-site collaboration , and disciplined project execution , contributing directly to bringing customer-driven solutions from concept to industrial validation.
The role is based in Mombaroccio (PU) and requires frequent travel across production sites (Italy, Portugal, Mexico).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development projects from brief to industrialization
- Apply structured Innovation and Product Development processes
- Support developments in injection moulding, wood and cork processing
- Coordinate validation testing (mechanical, environmental, durability)
- Identify technical risks and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple sites
Your Background
- Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
- 5–9 years’ experience in manufacturing/product development/R&D
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
