Senior R&D Chemist - Cosmetic Ingredients

Reporting directly to the Product Development Director and the R&D Manager, you'll be at the heart of updating and developing the cosmetic ingredients portfolio :
selecting promising ingredients and helping to scale-up from lab to plant.

This is an opportunity with an international scope! As a Senior R&D Chemist you will be based at the italian HQ, just 20km from Bergamo towards Milan, but will play an active role in team-working and sharing knowledge across global équipes abroad.

What You'll Do

· Identify and evaluate new cosmetic ingredients

· Synthesis and formulation trials

· Collaborate with Product Management to assess feasibility and market relevance

· Support scale-up from lab to plant and troubleshoot implementation

· Engage with cross-functional teams across Italy and the UK

Requirements

· Degree in Organic Chemistry

· 5+ years of experience in R&D in the cosmetic industry

· Direct experience with cosmetic raw materials/ingredients

· Fluent in Italian and English
