MISSION
As a Senior Purchasing Program Buyer , you will lead purchasing activities for new vehicle programs, engineering changes, and cost optimization initiatives . You will play a key role in ensuring supplier readiness , cost competitiveness , and risk mitigation across the entire product development lifecycle.
Working at the intersection of purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and program management, you will contribute directly to the successful launch of new vehicles and the achievement of strategic sourcing objectives .
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead purchasing activities for vehicle programs from early development through production .
- Act as the purchasing representative within cross‑functional program teams (engineering, manufacturing, program management).
- Ensure suppliers meet technical, timing, cost, and quality requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
- Monitor part development, milestones , and supplier performance , proactively addressing risks and issues.
- Manage engineering changes and design releases, ensuring timely and clear commercial alignment.
- Track Bill of Material (BOM) cost evolution and drive cost optimization initiatives through VA/VE and benchmarking.
- Support supplier readiness across prototype, pre‑series, and series production phases.
- Contribute to supplier development activities, capacity planning, tooling readiness, and compliance requirements.
- Manage complex development programs with a broad scope and high level of autonomy.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within an industrial or automotive environment.
- Strong experience in program purchasing , supplier management, and cost control.
- Solid understanding of automotive products, development processes, and supply chain dynamics.
- Proven ability to work in complex, fast‑changing environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent English (C1 level) ; additional languages are a plus.
