In this Senior Property Underwriter role, you will support GC&C's largest line of business—Property—working with the Global Head of Property, Engineering and Construction to advance underwriting excellence and strategic transformation. You’ll guide local underwriters on complex, large deals, maintain governance and pricing standards, and contribute to a global view of market dynamics. You will operate across regions to help deliver profitability targets and portfolio optimization, shaping GC&C’s Property strategy and client value. This is an opportunity to drive technical leadership in a multinational, cross-functional team and contribute to GC&C’s growth ambitions.

• Support the Global Head in translating strategic priorities into actionable Property plans
• Help Regions execute the Portfolio Strategy Statement for Property and monitor profitability targets
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives including digital capability upgrades
• Maintain best-in-class underwriting governance, reviews, and use of global tools
• Contribute to Property Requirements and Principles issuance and maintenance
• Support automation and data quality initiatives
• Collaborate with Central Team RELP, Technical Excellence Team, Group Reinsurance, and others
• Refine pricing strategy, capacity deployment, and portfolio optimization
• Promote multinational and captive segments and develop tailored solutions for complex industrial risks
• Foster knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration within a high-performing international team
• Encourage a Next Level mindset, innovation, and accountability across local/regional teams

Responsabilità

• At least 10 years in Property underwriting in a multinational environment
• Experience in Engineering Lines (CAR/EAR/MB) is a plus
• Proven experience in diverse, international teams and strategic transformation programs
• Deep technical expertise in industrial property risks, multinational programs, CAT modelling, pools, pricing and reinsurance (treaty and facultative)
• Solid experience in client engagement, product development, and portfolio management logic
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks, underwriting tools, and digital transformation initiatives
• Understanding of how AI can enhance underwriting, portfolio steering, pricing discipline and efficiency
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
