Senior Project Manager

An established, globally recognised consultancy with a strong legacy of delivering complex, high-impact projects is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its growing Project & Programme Management team.

This organisation is known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence, and commitment to delivering sustainable, innovative solutions across the built environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering large-scale, complex projects, with a particular focus on data centre design and construction.

You will work within multidisciplinary, international teams to deliver projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Candidates with experience in data centres, pharmaceuticals, scientific or industrial environments will be highly regarded.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, including during challenging project phases
• Lead and manage multiple large-scale capital projects
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams across all project stages, including design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across design, commercial, procurement, and operational functions
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with clear, proactive strategies
• Drive stakeholder engagement and secure alignment from project inception
• Ensure clear and effective communication across all project stakeholders
• Take ownership of project planning, scheduling, and quality management
• Manage and contribute to cost reporting and budget control throughout the lifecycle
• Guide design teams to ensure delivery aligns with project briefs and timelines
• Support the development of phasing and delivery strategies where required

You will bring:

• Experience in project and construction management, ideally within data centres, industrial, or complex infrastructure environments
• Proven experience delivering complex projects on site
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, procurement methodologies, and statutory regulations
• Experience managing budgets and delivering projects to time and cost targets
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint (AutoCAD knowledge beneficial)
• Fluency in Italian and English
