Job Description Summary :

As a Senior Project Manager at Rocket Software, you will lead the delivery of complex modernization projects for Application Modernization and Connectivity, typically ranging from $500k to $2M in services revenue, and occasionally oversee more complex transitions or transformations valued up to $10M. You will coordinate multi-function, multi-vendor project teams across multiple regions to meet deadlines and drive customer outcomes.

A strong technical background in areas such as infrastructure modernization, application modernization, process modernization, hybrid cloud, microservices, or DevOps is essential. You will define project objectives, create detailed delivery plans, and ensure alignment with business goals, collaborating with stakeholders including engineers, consultants, sales, and leadership to ensure transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery & Customer Experience: Oversee project lifecycle, manage timelines, scope, and quality; facilitate requirement gathering, kickoffs, and reviews; build trust-based client relationships; proactively address risks.
2. Revenue & Portfolio Management: Coordinate resources and schedules, communicate expectations, forecast financials, identify new revenue opportunities, and support strategic project qualification.
3. Operational Excellence: Implement best practices, track KPIs, analyze data for improvements, establish governance, and drive continuous process enhancements.
4. Team Leadership & Development: Mentor project managers, handle escalations, develop career plans, foster learning, and support team growth.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment on project goals.

Requirements

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; PMP or similar certification preferred; Agile certifications are a plus.

Experience: 12+ years in project management, with 6+ years leading senior project teams, preferably in enterprise software or SaaS environments; proven success in revenue growth and transformation projects.

Skills & Competencies: Leadership, stakeholder management, strategic planning, risk management, process improvement, financial acumen, and strong communication skills.
