Senior Project Developer
I’m currently supporting a client in the energy and infrastructure space with the hire of a Senior Project Developer, working across solar, wind, storage, and data centre projects in Italy.
The role:
- Lead and support project development across all stages (from early scouting through to delivery)
- Manage permitting and administrative processes
- Liaise with local authorities, landowners, and grid operators
- Negotiate land and real estate agreements
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or similar
- Strong experience in renewable energy project development (solar preferred)
- Exposure to data centre or large infrastructure projects is a plus
- Knowledge of Italian planning and permitting processes
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel for site visits across Italy
