Rome , where a dedicated team is advancing a portfolio of utility-scale PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects. Let’s work together towards a successful energy transition. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Developer (m/f/d) at our office in
Rome
in Italy to support our operations in Italy. Your responsibilities:
Obtain administrative authorizations for RES projects, including associated infrastructure, released by the relevant regional and/or national administrative body. Provide inputs to the Financial Modeling Team and evaluate project profitability for investment decision. Manage and coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders to support the preparation of environmental, technical, and financial studies, including reviewing EIA reports, Single Authorization documentation, and feasibility studies. Elaborate relevant documentation provided in the frame of the Administrative Authorization, Grid Connection and Construction. Carry out technical and legal due diligence, together with subject matter experts, on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Manage project economics and development timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Tracking Project progress through Company tools identifying risks and related mitigation measures. Elaborate relevant technical and commercial terms for land lease, DDS, and/or acquisition contracts. Conduct site visits together with consultants and internal stakeholders to verify project conditions and feasibility, or to support surveys and monitoring activities. Participate in stakeholder engagement campaigns, public consultations, and meetings with authorities as part of the permitting process. Monitor regulatory frameworks and evaluate potential impacts on project development. Manage and acquire secondary permits once projects have been authorized till ready to build. Your profile:
MSc in Engineering with 8–10 years of professional experience in renewable energy project development and management, with a particular focus on wind. Proven track record in preparing and following up on Sole Authorization processes in accordance with regional and/or national regulations, including the execution of wind farm and PV plant projects. Experience in preparing technical documentation for grid access and connection requests, as well as in project acquisition and sales processes; experience in project financing is a plus Advanced knowledge of MS Office and QGIS. Team leadership experience is a plus. Willingness to travel Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English We offer to you:
