Our customer is a leading fashion retailer and retail innovator. We do not share the name, but they are a major part of many wardrobes. We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to focus on customer pain points and PO vision. The Product Owner will work closely with the customer's managers, our clients, the support team, and the technical team.
What You Will Bring to the product
- Defined the end‑to‑end product strategy, helping to define and shape solution value through a focus on customer pain points and the team's vision
- Captures requirements from business stakeholders and prepares users' stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Ensures backlog is aligned with UX/UI design
- Drives a Production Product mindset across the team, ensuring that the definition of minimum value and user‑testable team outputs
- Works closely with technology teams to ensure the delivery of User Value in line with User Story goals
- Supports a shared understanding of User Stories across the team, particularly why they are valuable/prioritised
- Ensures backlog captures dependencies on vendors and other parallel work, being closer to Technical / Process detail than Journey Owner
- Ensures the roadmap is aligned with backlog priorities
Requirements
- Solid understanding of the Production Product mindset, understanding the value of short‑term planning
- At least 5 years of experience working in Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS framework environment as PO/BA
- Advanced English level and advanced Spanish level
- Experience with writing User Stories in accordance with DOR, decomposing work to drive prioritisation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade‑offs, telling a compelling story
- Comfortable with processes / technology / IT to understand and help problem‑solve with the technical team(s), addressing their concerns
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with confidence in explaining complex processes or technical details to diverse groups of people
- Strong problem solver with the ability to lead the team and to push the solution and progress
Would be a big plus
- Experience in retail, distribution, and commercial areas, but it is not a must
