Senior Product Manager, AI

Job Summary

Toptal is hiring a Senior Product Manager, AI to lead the AI platform and build customer‑facing product features. This is a remote, full‑time role that requires a product‑centric leader with strong data and AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead an agile team, including backlog grooming, prioritization, and cross‑functional coordination, focusing on AI‑driven product capabilities.
• Translate AI platform capabilities into customer‑ and talent‑facing product experiences that deliver measurable business value.
• Define scope for new product features and ongoing feature improvements.
• Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Break down complex problems and use data, analytics, and user research to inform product direction and validate AI‑driven solutions.
• Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.
• Run research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks.
• Take ownership of identifying and solving complex product challenges that align with short‑term goals and long‑term initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of proven product management experience.
• Proven ability to lead products end‑to‑end from discovery to launch, iteration, and scale.
• Experience managing the development and launch of mobile, desktop, and web applications.
• Knowledge of AI product development processes and best practices.
• Experience designing, launching, and iterating on AI‑driven product features that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Experience building and orchestrating intelligent workflows to solve problems at scale.
• Comfort with SQL or spreadsheets to analyze data and conduct research with users.
• Strong data‑driven decision making and customer‑centric approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies with globally distributed teams.
