n8n started off as a workflow automation tool, but has increasingly become a tool for plugging AI into your business. In fact, n8n is a great tool for blending the three fundamental building blocks of automation : AI, code-based steps and people-based ones. With the kind of traction only AI can bring (look us up on Google Trends) we now have the opportunity to become the visual tool for integrating AI into businesses.
As a Product Manager on the Adoption & Retention team , your mission is to make sure users experience the “aha!” moment quickly — and keep coming back for more. You'll be responsible for crafting product experiences that turn curiosity into habit and activation into expansion. Nothing is off the table when it comes to making our users successful.

Your Responsibilities
1 — Drive Adoption & Activation Strategy
Stay on top of usage data, behavioral insights, and market trends to develop a winning strategy for user onboarding and activation. Define and evolve our activation metrics. Identify and remove friction points that prevent users from realizing value early.
2 — User-Centric Product Discovery
Deeply engage with our users — from community builders to enterprise admins — to understand their goals, blockers, and moments of delight. Validate hypotheses through research, prototyping, and testing. Work closely with Design and Engineering to ship elegant, intuitive product experiences.
3 — Boost Engagement & Retention
Design and iterate on features and nudges that increase frequency of use, habit formation, and retention.
4 — Champion a Product-Led Culture
Promote a data-informed, experimentation-driven approach to product development across the org. Help other teams understand key adoption and retention levers. Share insights and frameworks that contribute to product-led growth and long-term user success..
Requirements
Must-have
Proven Product Management Experience : You have deep end-to-end product management experience with a track record of shipping amazing products and features (while failing fast along the way), used by a lot of people in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Acumen : You have a high-level understanding of AI and how LLMs work as well as ability to use SQL to drive insights from our data.
Customer Focus : You put yourself in the user's shoes and are adept at gathering and acting on feedback to drive product improvements.
Data-Driven Decision Maker : You geek out about data analysis and feel uneasy when you don't have metrics to back up assumptions.
Collaborative Team Player : You get on with people easily, love working in international teams, and can tactfully fight your corner when needed.
Curiosity : You are curious by nature and not afraid of questioning things deeply
Nice-to-have
SaaS Experience : You have experience in the BtoB SaaS industry, particularly with AI-driven products.
Product-Led Growth Expertise : You have experience driving product-led growth strategies and identifying high-potential users.
Coding / SQL Skills : Ability to code or write SQL is a big plus, helping you dive deeper into data and technical discussions.
Remote Work Experience : You're familiar with remote-first work environments and can effectively collaborate across time zones.
