Senior Product/Commercial Executive
Descrizione dell'offerta
Head of Product
Location: Rho, Italy (near the metro station)
Contract Type: Full-time, On-site
We are seeking a Head of Product to lead the definition, development, and industrialization of our containerized battery systems . The Head of Product owns the system-level architecture of the container platform, acting as the technical and product reference for layout, integration, scalability, and design trade-offs. The role sits at the intersection of R&D, engineering, and executive leadership , ensuring continuous alignment between experimental data, product strategy, and market needs.
A key responsibility of this position is to embed certification and compliance considerations into the product design from the earliest stages (“certification by design”), progressively guiding the system architecture toward regulatory readiness for industrial and utility-scale deployment.
The Head of Product works in strong and continuous collaboration with R&D teams (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, controls) and with the C-level , translating laboratory and pilot-scale results into product decisions, while also incorporating customer requirements, deployment constraints, and commercial objectives.
Own the overall product architecture of containerized battery systems, from pilot to industrial scale
Define container-level system layouts, interfaces, and integration concepts (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, thermal, control)
Act as the primary technical interface between stack/module development and container-level integration
Drive strong collaboration with R&D teams , using experimental data and system testing results to inform product decisions
Initiate and guide certification and compliance activities by design , integrating regulatory constraints into architecture and layout choices from early development stages
Coordinate and align the work of senior engineers (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, controls) toward a coherent product vision
Define product requirements, system specifications, and boundary conditions for subsystem development
Ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM), design-for-assembly (DFA), serviceability, and field maintainability are embedded early
Support prototype definition, system integration, testing strategies, and validation plans
Lead system-level root-cause analysis during integration, testing, and scale-up phases
Prepare high-level technical documentation, system descriptions, and decision-support materials for internal and executive use
MSc or PhD in Engineering
~Proven experience with containerized or skid-based industrial systems , preferably container platforms
~ Solid understanding of system integration across mechanical, hydraulic, thermal, electrical, and control domains
~ Experience engaging with certification, compliance, or regulatory frameworks for industrial or energy systems
~ Ability to bridge R&D data, engineering constraints, and market requirements into clear product decisions
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
