12‑month fixed‑term post covering maternity leave in the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Adult Eating Disorder Service. The service delivers psychology‑led care to adults with moderate to severe eating disorders within a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Psychology, GP, Psychiatry, Nursing, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy.
Location
Based with the community team at Florence Street Resource Centre; may require visit to GG&C wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect clinical work with individuals, families and groups both face‑to‑face and virtually.
- Consult with referrers from CMHT and inpatient services, manage MDT discussion and case consultation.
- Train and supervise new staff recruited through new Scottish Government funding.
- Deliver individual and group treatments and offer consultation to other servicesolecular working with eating disorders in community and inpatient settings.
- Support the development of the expanding Adult Eating Disorder Service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Clinical psychologist or equivalent in a related field with experience working with eating disorders.
- Experience in multidisciplinary team working and case management.
- Experience in training and supervising staff is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
