About the Role

As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (Europe-wide) at Witboost , you will be responsible for the technical and functional aspects of the sales cycle .

You will be a core member of the sales organization and a key contributor to winning complex enterprise deals. Your mission is to help prospects clearly understand how Witboost fits into their data ecosystem , how it supports their operating model, and why it enables scalable, governed data product delivery.

This is a senior, autonomous role , working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Engineering across Europe.

How you’ll make an impact at Witboost

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality product presentations and demos, both onsite and remote
  • Help prospects understand how Witboost integrates with their existing ecosystem (data platforms, CI/CD, governance tools, catalogs, ticketing systems)
  • Support Sales in qualifying opportunities and shaping technically sound deal strategies
  • Define when a POC or MVP is the right next step and scope it clearly
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and technical due diligence
  • Act as a bridge between customers and product, sharing feedback and field insights
  • Build reusable demo assets, solution patterns and reference architectures

A day in the life

You’ll report to the Head of GTM and typically:

  • Join discovery calls with Sales to understand customer context and constraints
  • Design a solution narrative that explains how Witboost fits, not just what it does
  • Run demos tailored to the customer’s architecture and maturity
  • Scope a POC or MVP that proves value without overengineering
  • Answer technical questions from architects, platform teams or governance leads
  • Align with Product and Engineering on roadmap, limitations and positioning
  • Proactively engage with prospects to clarify complex topics, unblock decision‑making, and maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle.

What you bring

  • 8–12+ years in technology roles, with a strong background in enterprise data architecture or data engineering
  • 5+ years in a Pre‑Sales / Sales Engineering role for complex enterprise software
  • Solid understanding of data management and governance challenges in large organizations
  • A proven track record of running successful demos and POCs in long sales cycles
  • Experience explaining complex platforms to both technical and executive audiences

You are

  • A strong communicator and confident presenter
  • Comfortable explaining architecture, processes and trade‑offs
  • Pragmatic and sales‑oriented: you know when “good enough” is better than perfect
  • Autonomous, structured, and accountable
  • Willing to travel across Europe
  • Fluent in English (French or German are a plus)

Compensation

  • Base salary: €90,000 – €110,000
  • Bonus: 10–20% (sales support effectiveness and deal outcomes)
  • Total OTE: ~€100,000 – €130,000 (depending on experience)
