Role Summary
The Senior Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for the financial oversight of the investments managed by the Servicer/Asset Manager and related investment vehicles, ensuring robust control of performance, cash flow elaboration, and ongoing monitoring.
The position combines strong analytical capabilities across NPEs and real estate portfolio management with a high degree of accountability.
Core Responsibilities
Data Management
- Responsible for data sourcing, consistency checks, and data elaboration.
Investor & Management Reporting
- Update and maintain internal performance metrics (IRR, MOIC).
- Perform variance analysis versus underwriting and business plans.
- Elaborate and own reporting towards stakeholders (servicer’s senior management, investors, and master servicer) as required (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).
- Elaborate and update business plans, including scenario analysis and ad hoc analysis for management purposes.
Liquidity Forecast & Management
- Analyse projected cash flows and funding structures, forecasting capital calls, distributions, and cash movements between securitisation vehicles.
- Provide monthly cash reconciliation (LTD) and upstream proposals for each vehicle.
- Own the process of servicing/asset management fees calculation.
Ideal Candidate
Experience (3–5 years)
- Alternative asset manager.
- Private equity/debt, NPEs, or real estate platform.
- Big Four (Transaction Services) with exposure to funds or structured vehicles.
- Experience with SPVs / securitisation vehicles strongly preferred.
Technical Competencies
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, analysis, and investment metrics.
- Familiarity with RE/NPEs, multi-vehicle structures, and leveraged transactions.
