Senior Piping Engineer

Arkad SpA is improving its capabilities in the Oil & Gas and Power Markets.

We are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer to be included within the Piping Engineering Department and become part of our Team in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).

Responsibilities

• Perform the design activities and issue the deliverables assigned by the Piping Chief Engineer, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety/environment requirements, within the specific time schedule and cost.
• Be a technical reference point for Piping works.
• Be responsible for the stress analysis of piping routing and relevant supports design.

Primary Duties

• Execute all the actions and tasks assigned by the Chief Piping Engineer, giving support in developing engineering and/or interfacing Client or Vendors.
• Review contractual technical documentation and requirements.
• Prepare stress analysis calculation reports.
• Perform the design and selection of piping supports.
• Prepare piping support specifications.
• Perform calculations of special supports.
• Prepare or check material requisitions for special supports and standard supports.
• Issue or check technical bid evaluation piping supports.
• Review and approve vendor documents.
• Support isometric preparation.
• Ensure proper coordination with other Engineers.
• Perform/participate in squad checks.
• Ensure that his work is done according to professional criteria and without mistakes, checking in detail all the documentation before formal issue.
• Plan his work to meet the given schedule.
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
• Perform calculation and selection of standardized supports.
• Interact with the client/subcontractor for the Piping Discipline.
