Senior Operations Manager – ERP & Special Projects and Initiatives

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead ERP and digital transformation initiatives within supply chain processes. The role focuses on empowering operational excellence, aligning global supply chain processes, and driving technology adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex operational projects from concept to execution, ensuring on‑time, within‑budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to prioritize and implement process improvements and technology upgrades.
  • Define and execute the ERP roadmap for supply chain, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
  • Drive ERP system enhancements, upgrades, and de‑customization to reduce complexity, improve scalability and support cloud migration and integration of AI, RPA, and IoT.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across functions such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, leveraging data‑driven insights.
  • Lead user adoption through training and continuous improvement programs.
  • Act as liaison between business and technical teams for ERP‑related projects and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business or a related field.
  • Extensive experience managing manufacturing and supply‑chain projects worldwide.
  • Deep knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle and their supply‑chain modules.
  • Track record of leading cross‑functional teams in a global environment.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Additional experience with AI and automation is desirable.
  • Ability to deliver results in dynamic and complex organizational settings.
