Experteer Overview
In this role you will shape underwriting strategy for Property & Liability risks in the Italian market, supporting the Mid Corporate segment. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and selected agents to drive business development and achieve Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You’ll ensure compliance with guidelines, manage and optimize the local portfolio, and contribute to product development and external communications. This is a chance to influence risk strategy, pricing, and cross‑selling in a global insurer with a strong focus on inclusion and customer‑centric growth. Retribuzione / Benefits
Ensure underwriters follow underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines Steer and control the local portfolio to meet financial targets Liaise with functional areas to review end‑to‑end underwriting performance Collaborate with Sales, Claims and other product lines to execute marketing strategies including cross‑selling Maintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate governance and local regulatory frameworks Support development and implementation of new or modified products Assist in acquiring new business and retaining existing business (including agent/broker negotiations) Communicate local business strategy externally Responsabilità
Master's degree in Engineering or Economics or Law 9-15 years experience in underwriting profitable Property including PD/BI and Theft and Liability for Corporate Clients Preferable multinational client experience Proven leadership skills Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration life cycle Sound knowledge of pricing and market analysis Ideally experience in designing, developing, and implementing robust wordings Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects Entrepreneurial mindset Strong communication skills Ability to work in an international organization Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) Very good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative tools
