Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team at ITT. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the team spearheading key manufacturing projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and timelines, with a focus on painting systems and heat treatment machinery.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversees installation, modification, and improvement of production machines and equipment
• Identifies plant requirements in collaboration with Production, Quality, and R&D teams
• Defines system characteristics, layout, and implementation plan
• Manages supplier contacts, supply definitions, RDA issuance, supply management, and economic negotiations in collaboration with Purchasing
• Verifies safety and environmental compliance
• Coordinates internal construction site setup, work, and manages suppliers and external labor
• Ensures plant commissioning within scheduled times and achieves project productivity
• Monitors industrial plants and verifies production and quality performance
• Promotes activities for quality and efficiency improvements
• Supports plant cost reduction initiatives
• Participates in innovation and development to enhance production competitiveness

Position Requirements

• Technical degree and proficiency in English
• Approximately 6+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in IT tools such as Excel, SAP (or other ERP), PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
• Interpersonal skills, autonomy, flexibility, teamwork, analytical skills, problem-solving, and priority management
• Leadership skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners (suppliers, contract manufacturers)
• Eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, curiosity
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
