Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team at ITT. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be an integral part of the team spearheading key manufacturing projects from inception to implementation, with a focus on painting systems and heat treatment machinery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, modification, and improvement of production machines and equipment.
• Identify plant requirements in collaboration with Production, Quality, and R&D teams.
• Define system characteristics, layout, and implementation plans.
• Manage supplier relationships, supply definitions, and negotiations in collaboration with Purchasing.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate internal construction site activities and manage suppliers and external labor.
• Commission plants within scheduled timelines and achieve project productivity goals.
• Monitor industrial plant performance.
• Verify production and quality performance.
• Promote activities for quality and efficiency improvements.
• Support plant cost reduction initiatives.
• Participate in innovation and development to enhance production competitiveness.

Requirements

• Technical degree with good knowledge of English.
• Proficient in IT tools such as Excel, SAP (or other ERP), PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
• Strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, flexibility, teamwork aptitude, analytical skills, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
• Leadership skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
• Eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, curiosity, and attention to detail.
