On behalf of a FMCG company operating in the beauty, beauty care and cosmetics categories , we are currently seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Export Manager .
The manager will support the expansion of the business across global markets and strengthen the company’s presence within structured distribution networks.
This role is pivotal in shaping the go-to-market strategy, opening new countries, and strengthening the company’s presence across buying groups, pharmacy and parapharmacy networks, and structured distributors in the cosmetics and dermocosmetic segments. The ideal candidate brings strategic vision, strong brand-driven sales experience, and a proven track record in international business development to accelerate the international expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
- International Expansion & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Define and implement market-entry strategies for each country, including pricing, positioning, competitive mapping, and route-to-market models.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities and develop structured penetration plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor for international development, contributing to a scalable global expansion framework.
- Build and strengthen relationships with buying groups, pharmacy/para-pharmacy chains, affiliated networks, and multi-store distributors within the beauty and dermocosmetic space.
- Negotiate distribution agreements, commercial terms, and cooperation models that ensure brand visibility and profitability.
- Support partners in maximizing sell-in and sell-out performance across their networks.
- Coordinate sales activities according to market dynamics and channel structures.
- Track international KPIs (coverage, profitability, volumes, market penetration) and deliver structured insights to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at major international trade shows, events, and client meetings.
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Export Management, International Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong background in beauty, cosmetics or dermocosmetics, preferably working with pharmacy/para-pharmacy groups and structured distribution networks.
- Proven success in brand-driven roles is essential. Experience in private label may be considered, only if accompanied by solid experience in brand development and branded sales strategies.
- Deep understanding of international distribution ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and GTM strategies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to design and implement market penetration plans.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- High availability to travel internationally.
